The Monroe County Historical Society meets at 7:00pm on the first Monday of the month, September through June. When a national holiday occurs on the first Monday, the Society meets the following Monday. The December meeting is the Society’s annual Christmas dinner.
Meetings are held at the Conley Building, the stone depot located at 104 East Adams Street in Forsyth. The Society welcomes visitors to attend its meetings.

The Society welcomes new members to join during it’s regularly scheduled meetings. Annual dues for members are $20 per person.
